Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations (Locally) where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Returns

You have 14 Calendar days to return (Metro Mall Item) an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your Locally Received product (Within Sri lanka) is damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete at the time of delivery, please file a return request on email:babblerbay@gmail.com or Call: +94769299228 within 14 days for Babbler Bay items and 7 days for non-Babbler Bay items of the delivery date

For selected categories, we accept a change of mind:

Men’s Fashion, Women’s Fashion, Men’s bags, Women’s bags, Luggage & Suitcase, Bedding, Bath. Exceptions are women’s intimate apparel, men’s innerwear, swimwear, eyewear, watches, duffel bags, shoe-care. For device related issues (Locally Dispatched Product – Within Srilanka) after usage or the expiration of the return window, seller warranty or brand warranty could be given by the seller. For seller warranty, please contact the seller.

The contact details of the seller can be found on the invoice. For brand warranty, please refer to the Brand its self. Pack your Return parcel securely, with the product in the original and undamaged manufacturer’s packaging along with any accessories, manuals, free items, etc. as delivered. High Light ‘Return Label’ on the return package

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned Item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchange

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at babblerbay@gmail.com  and send your item Locally purchased item to same Vendor/senders physical address.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item include Overseas Shipping costs are non ­refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
